at shuqing's house. finished a a-math paper and am so tired right now.
went to help in the newspaper collection organised by the school. it's was kind of useless. wonder why they organise it every year. is it to really help the needys, or to teach the pupils the value of service, or to just show the public that the school is heavily involved in such programmes?
flyers were distributed last week, and the amount of newspaper collected weren't a lot. how much can they actually fetch?
we went all the way to the area around keat hong to collect the used items for recycling. it was so far, so tiring, but all we collected was so little. but it was still better than nothing.
why can't the school organise us to go the nearer areas. we'll then be able to go to more blocks of flats, and waste less time travelling.
they say that the money go to the needys, but those karang guni man are also in need of these profits. we're collecting the resident's old items, doesn't it mean that the karang guni man have nothing to collect in the area, and so they have less earnings?
so we're helping one side, and causing trouble for the other.
so is collecting old items actually useful or useless?
i'm already trying to find a way to skip PE again next week :p
