the consequence?

have told limin and qiaochu not to get me the watch. it's far to expensive. maybe i'll get one later on my own.

went with the school to career fair at suntec city.
realised that there are so many overseas universities, but i know i can never get into one of them.

overseas universities and high school offers programmes to allow students to go to university straight after their high school, without passing through pre-u level, or programmes which shortens their time in school.
i'll totally refuse to having such a programme in the country. why make things so difficult for the students, changing the education system again and again, giving them no time to prepare. the current system seems to be dividing the students even further. the highest level will be those in the gifted program, then those in the new IB or through-train program, then those in the special, then express then normal academic, then normal technical, then so on...
students in the lower stream are feeling inferior to others, especially when relatives and friends compare them with other smarter people. some adults still thought that such comparison can make the lower stream pupil work harder and strive for better results and get promoted into a higher stream. this mindset is absolutely wrong. some the the lower stream pupil might feel even more inferior, and may just simply give up on his studies.
who will be there to bear the consequences? the one who made the decision or the one who caused the decision?
