another gamble

finally get to go takashimaya! woohoo~!
went out in the afternoon with dad (mum's joining us a bit later), and we went to look for my blender. ;) we were spoilt for choices when we went to best denki, so we went to the departmental store to see if there's any better ones. there was another demo going on, so we looked at it and found it quite good. furthermore, there was a 10% discount. after much (i really mean much in this case), we bought the one on demo. Hurray!

would you consider collector cards a waste of money? you buy the basic pack, and later the booster packs to hopefully get the cards you want to make your deck stronger. you gamble your money on a pack, only to discover that that pack doesn't contain your rare card. you make another gamble on another pack, and continue doing so till you get the cards you want (whether you get it eventually is of course another matter).
is it worth it?
